Acsenda School of Management

Acsenda School of Management (ASM) is a private post-secondary institution located in downtown Vancouver offering specialized undergraduate degrees and diplomas linked to business careers and professional pathways. With small class sizes, an international business focus, and attention to students’ needs both inside and outside of the classroom, Acsenda attracts students from all over the world.

Acsenda School of Management has been offering a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree since 2004. The BBA program now includes options for concentrations including international business management, marketing management, human resource management, accounting and a general management option. The Bachelor of Hospitality Management (BHM) degree with international internships opened in April 2016. The BHM program integrates business courses from the BBA with specialized courses in hospitality management to prepare graduates for management careers in the industry.

The Academic Council is responsible for the review and approval of academic programs and policies and advising the President and Vice Chancellor on academic matters. ASM’s Academic Council includes several external members with senior academic leadership experience as well as faculty and student representatives.

  • Acsenda offers you options to concentrate on a specialized area of business, to gain work experience, and to earn credit toward a professional designation as you earn your degree.
  • You will study with students from all over the world. Our faculty bring a variety of cultural and business experiences to the classroom. You will learn how the global economy works, how to create and conduct business in the global market place, and how to work with teams in a diverse and global workforce.
  • At Acsenda, you may begin your studies in October, January, April or July. You may take courses year round or take a break in a season that suits your needs. With our semester system, it is possible to complete a four year degree in 2.5 years to 3 years.
  • You are not simply a number at Acsenda. Classes are small which means more individual attention from instructors.
  • Downtown Vancouver is an exciting place to study business. As major port city, Vancouver is a gateway to the Asia Pacific and the Americas. International commerce and trade, the resource sector, tourism, and high technology – including software development and biotechnology – are key to the economy.
