- Why King’s
King’s University Institution at Western University, founded in 1954, is a Catholic liberal arts college connected with a big, world-class university. The southwestern terminus of the Quebec City–Windsor Corridor is home to King’s University College, which is located in London, Ontario. The university college is across from the Richmond Gates of the University of Western Ontario, and is positioned near to the Thames River. The majority of the site is bordered by residential areas, with Epworth Ave cutting through the middle. King’s has been technically owned and controlled by the diocese since its inception. In 1972, King’s assumed control of the college’s general operations and governance. The process of incorporation was the next step in the King’s development as a significant Catholic university in Canada. In August 2012, the Vatican approved the move, which had been in the works for several years.
Students at King’s have full access to all of Western University’s facilities and services, and they graduate with a Western degree. As a Catholic university, King’s emphasizes the significance of social justice and the dignity of each human. Students of all religions and backgrounds are encouraged to apply. Our dedication to diversity, accessibility, social justice, and the common good is based on respect for the human person. One of King’s biggest assets is his welcoming and supportive community. King’s is known for its strong academic programs, substantial scholarships, and extensive student services both domestically and internationally.
