International College of Manitoba (ICM)

The International College of Manitoba (ICM) is a pathway college that provides a variety of programs aimed at ensuring a “smooth landing” in Canada for international students. It is located in Winnipeg, a thriving Canadian city. Winnipeg is a major part of the transportation, industrial, agricultural, and finance sectors in the North American region, and its central location gives it an excellent starting point for experiencing everything Canada has to offer.

As they go through their first year of study, ICM students will benefit from smaller class sizes, a supportive strengths-based atmosphere, and numerous chances for leadership and skill development. Students who attend ICM will receive the assistance they need to get off to a strong start at the University of Manitoba and achieve their academic objectives. ICM students can also join university organizations and societies, which allows them to socialize outside of the classroom and ease the transition from secondary to undergraduate education. With specialized online career portals, mentorship programs, CV writing assistance, and year-round training programs and career events, the University of Manitoba’s Career and Employment Services are remarkable. Alumni can receive access to their sponsors and professional ties by joining the University of Manitoba alumni network, which contains 145,000 alumni in more than 140 countries.

After successfully completing the UTP Stage II program, students will choose from a variety of undergraduate courses at the University of Manitoba in their second year.  They may also be eligible for the Cooperative Education Program at the University of Michigan (Co-op). Co-ops combine classroom learning with paid work experience to help students advance in their careers. They’ll have the skills they need to stand out when it’s time to look for work. The low tuition rates are one of the many advantages of studying at ICM. This, paired with Manitoba’s low cost of living, makes ICM an attractive option. They also provide scholarships and the Navitas Family Bursary to the top students enrolled in UTP Stage II.
