- Why Kent
Established in 1989, Kent Institute Australia aspires to create a brighter future for all of our students and prepare them for their chosen career path in Business or Information Technology. Their principle goal is to create the pathway to their student’s future by broadening their knowledge and expanding their life experiences to create the next generation of Business and Information Technology leaders in an array of different industries.
Today Kent Institute is officially recognized as a leading provider of government-accredited courses, offering education to both local and international students.
They’re known as one of the best Sydney colleges, having helped nearly 10,000 local and international students get started in their career journey.
When it was first established, Kent only offered Information Technology (IT) Courses. The following year, Kent added Diplomas in Business and Business Computing to its course schedule. After twelve years of operation, in 2001, Kent won regulatory approval as a Higher Education institution and accreditation to offer Bachelor of Business degrees. The institute continued to grow in size, courses, and quality. In 2014, Bachelor of Accounting was added to its curriculum, which is subsequently approved by Australia’s top professional accounting bodies CPA Australia and Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand.
Now Kent Institute has two state-of-the-art campuses, with more expansion plans in the making.
