Trent University is a public liberal arts university based in Peterborough, Ontario, with a satellite campus in Oshawa that serves the Durham Region. This college was founded in 1967 and is located on Symons Campus, along the Otonabee River. The Trent crest features the sword of Samuel de Champlain, an early 17th century explorer who visited the Otonabee area in 1615 and built Quebec City in 1608.
Trent University has a long history of being recognized nationally for excellence in teaching, research, and student satisfaction, and it continues to attract top students from all across the country and the world.
